Pink bloom, frilly skirt and quiet wonder. An ode to the camellia

Welcome kind hearts,

Today, I noticed one solitary beautiful camellia bloom leaning gently over the top of mine and my neighbour’s fence into my garden. So vibrant, delicate and impossibly beautiful. My garden is very green with a new lawn and without any pops of colour as it hasn’t had a chance to establish itself. But my neighbours garden has this beautiful camellia plant, and it just sent this one flower to say hello. Camellias represent endurance and faithfulness, their symmetry symbolises perfection and grace, and pink camellias especially convey thanks and gratitude. I have immense gratitude for my neighbours and their beautiful pink camellia.

My Haiku for the Camellia,

Pink bloom, frilly skirt,

Whispered petals full of grace,

Quiet strength within.
