Everything you need to know before booking Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to frequently asked questions about my yoga classes at Oxmoor Farm.

Including what to bring, class suitability, booking details, and what to expect from your practice in the peaceful WhiteLeaf Yurt. This page is here to help you feel prepared, comfortable, and ready to enjoy your yoga experience.

  • A: Yes, wholeheartedly. Soul to Soul Yoga is a gentle meeting place, open to beginners, returners and seasoned practitioners alike. You are invited exactly as you are. There is no need to know, achieve or perform anything. Your presence is enough.

  • A: My teaching is rooted in Hatha yoga and softly woven with somatics, mindfulness, meditation, restorative practices and subtle body awareness. You may also experience elements of myofascial release, gentle rhythmic lymphatic movement and the quiet flow of tai chi. Each class is an invitation to listen inward and move with kindness.

  • A: Classes are slow, spacious and nurturing. We move with the breath, pausing often to notice and feel. There may be moments of stillness, reflection or poetry. It is less about “doing” and more about “being” — a return to yourself.

  • A: Not at all. Flexibility and strength are not requirements here. This practice meets you where you are and supports you in discovering what feels true in your own body.

  • A: Please bring a yoga mat if you have one, along with anything that helps you feel comfortable — perhaps a blanket, cushion or warm layers. Comfort is part of the practice.

  • A: Classes take place in the Whiteleaf Yurt at Oxmoor Farm, held gently within the ancient woodlands of the Chilterns. It is a quiet and sacred space, held by nature.

  • A: You are welcome here. Please let me know beforehand so I can support you. This is a practice of listening, not pushing, and you are always encouraged to rest or adapt as needed.

  • A: Soul to Soul Yoga honours the deeper dimensions of being, but it is not bound to any belief system. It is an open, inclusive space for exploration, connection and inner awareness.

  • A: This is not a space for striving or fixing. It is a space for remembering. Remembering your wholeness, your softness, your strength, your belonging. A place to meet yourself — gently, honestly and with compassion.

  • A: That is completely natural. Many arrive feeling the same. You will be warmly welcomed into a circle where there is no expectation, only kindness. In time, the space itself begins to feel like coming home.

  • A: There is nothing to fix. Thoughts are part of being human. This practice is not about stopping the mind, but about softening your relationship with it. Even a single conscious breath is enough.

  • A: It is guided by presence rather than performance, by compassion rather than correction. It is shaped by lived experience and offered from the heart. It is, simply, a meeting — soul to soul.
